Forrester recently unveiled an update to its Forrester Wave evaluative research methology (see Stephen Power’s blog post and my own take on it) and the IIAR> is eager to explore the new changes with our members. As part of the IIAR> commitment to bring our members updated, current information to put them ahead of the game, we’re offering an exclusive conversation with the Head of the Forrester Wave Center for Excellence, Danielle Jessee.
With several significant changes to the appearance and digital experience provided by Forrester, the Wave evaluation reports take a big leap into the future of enterprise software acquisition. Forrester have removed the last ‘challengers’ band in the Wave graphic and added a feature which highlights customer reference feedback–ostensibly to cater to the strength of user and customer reviews in today’s market. In the online version of the graphic, Forrester clients will also be able to use a ‘short list’ feature that uses the data from the rankings to dynamically create a long or short list for the acquisition process.
Forrester has offered to customize the discussion group to our members’ questions and concerns. IIAR> members can submit their questions on the IIAR> member portal here.
