IIAR Discussion – AR Training and Certification – What do You Require ?

There is renewed interest in the IIAR Certification programme with several members completing the certification test recently. This has highlighted the need to update the test questions, expand the range and ensure it is relevant to today’s AR community and market needs. We’re exploring how we can partner with Edinburgh University on the IIAR Certification programme required update and AR Training. Join our brainstorming on IIAR Training needs, facilitated by Edinburgh University training design experts Neil Pollock (LinkedIn, @neilpollock) and Gian Marco Campagnolo (@campagnolo_g) – read their profiles below, their expertise is unquestionable. You will be invited to name the 4 MOST IMPORTANT aspects that an “AR training programme should cover” – so come prepared.

Neil Pollock is a Professor of Innovation at the University of Edinburgh Business School and has been studying industry analysts and their influence on processes of innovation within the information technology sector for nearly ten years. He is currently writing a book about this form of expertise and what it means for technology vendors and adopters alike (see his contribution to the IIAR blog.

Gian Marco Campagnolo is Lecturer at Edinburgh University. His research examines user-developer and client-consultant interactions. Watch 1 minute video here. His research covered IT markets in industrial and public sector in five different countries (Norway, Sweden, Poland, Italy, UK and France). He is an award winning training developer and regular invited speaker at eSkills for Jobs, the European Commission initiative to tackle ICT skills provision in Europe.
