[JOB POSTING] Global Analyst Relations Specialist, IFS, Itasca / IL, USA

IFS is currently seeking an Analyst Relations Specialist to join the Global Communications team. This individual is responsible for supporting the Global Analyst Relations Manager and the execution of the IFS Analyst Relations program, with the objective of “influencing the influencers” – targeted industry analysts whose research and commentary impact IFS customers, prospects, partners, and press. The Analyst Relations Specialist will work closely with key internal partners in support of maintaining positive relationships with targeted analyst, acting as the program manager on key competitive report responses, and tracking established metrics to measure program performance for internal awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Program Management:

  • Coordinate briefings, track activity, and ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Support analyst interactions including development of briefing materials and compilation of presentation content
  • Manage and update the AR interaction database
  • Provide administrative support for dedicated AR events and initiatives
  • Develop tracking reports to measure AR program progress, both qualitatively and quantitatively e.g. IFS mentions, Gartner Peer Insights reviews, and analyst engagement activity
  • Track analyst research publication agendas, timelines and event schedules
  • Support Global Communications peers on cross-functional efforts such as product launches and corporate announcements

Research and Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with internal content owners to develop and distribute the quarterly Analyst Relations newsletter
  • Leverage existing research subscriptions to meet internal research/data requests
  • Update AR resources and webpage content with current accolades and sales enablement documentation
  • Identify and share relevant research internally via Workplace for broad awareness
  • Track, synthesize, and distribute relevant research reports to internal constituents

Skills, Knowledge & Behaviors Required:

  • BA/BS in Communications, Technology or Business preferred
  • 2-3+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Marketing or Communications
  • An analytical thinker with a strategic mindset
  • A positive attitude and ability to be flexible in the face of change
  • A strong self-starter with personal initiative and drive
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ease with written communications and ability to provide input to design of various communications (newsletters, webpages, social)
  • Experience in Analyst Relations a bonus
