Our client is a leading software vendor in the OSS/BSS market and is currently seeking to hire a Senior Marketing Manager – Analyst Relations.
DIMENSION & SCOPE:
Create and manage analyst relations opportunities to broaden our revenue generation, both in-year and years out, across various market segments, e.g., cable, utilities and telecoms. Primary role: Plan and develop analyst relations program, materials and relationships to drive brand awareness, credibility and pipeline. Serve as key liaison with Solutions Management, Corporate Marketing, Marketing Campaign Delivery, Event Planning and Product Management teams.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Identify, develop and manage industry analyst relationships and activities required to develop market awareness and pipeline opportunities in the billing and customer care (BSS/CIS) product and solutions business. The geographic focus of this role will be across all regions (Europe, NA, Asia Pac and LatAm) with a focus on NA and Europe.
§ Work with Solutions Management to define target analysts; Identify all relevant analysts in each vertical, rank order all analysts and prepare analyst outreach plans as appropriate.
§ Develop relationships with all analyst companies and individuals to drive effective placement and recommendation of our organisation in service providers
§ Manage and recommend analyst subscriptions based on market needs
§ Develop and recommend high level content and agendas for analyst interactions based on our solutions defined as priorities for each market and on the context of the individual analyst and analyst organization
§ Work with Product Management and Solutions Management to develop and fine tune appropriate product messaging and market positioning for each analyst interaction.
§ Be proactive in identifying analyst outreach and marketing plans based on knowledge of the industry, events, analyst companies and individual analysts, as well as your knowledge of our goals, markets, solutions and competitors
§ Consult on the conception and development of marketing plans, promotions, incentives, direct mail, display advertising, catalogue brochures, trade show marketing and sales collateral as it relates to analyst relations.
§ Drive new and innovative analyst relations marketing elements, combining social media, trade events, thought leadership and other avenues to build superlative brand awareness and thought leadership.
§ Work with sales/solutions management to ensure a solid industry analyst information base for client-specific value propositions leveraging market knowledge and analyst research.
§ Regionalize analyst relations program deliverables to ensure that regional teams across all regions (NA, EMEA, LatAm and AsPac) are armed with adequate analyst knowledge and research for support of all target markets and segments.
|EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE|
§ Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field
§ Six to eight years of Management experience (Management of remote Teams preferred)
§ Five to ten years progressive analyst relations, software marketing and/or solutions marketing experience.
§ Telecommunications, Utility, and/or Cable Broadband Industry experience strongly preferred.
§ Advance degree preferred (MBA, MSc)
§ Demonstrated ability to work with and directly lead a team – strong leadership skills a must.
§ Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a matrixed organization.
§ Strategic Thinker: Must be able to turn competitive information, product roadmap, market intelligence and client needs into strategic positioning for our solutions when communicating with the analyst community.
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
§ Customer-focused attitude; solid presentation skills.

§ Past experience in managing outside agencies and vendors, specifically analyst and research organizations
§ Proven Project Management experience managing high value projects.
§ Proficiency with various software programs including all elements of Microsoft Office.
§ Proven ability to provide innovative, high-quality, on-time deliverables within specified budget.
§ Independent, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
