
Who we’re looking for:
The successful candidate will be responsible for PwC’s Analyst Relations activities in EMEA, working closely with our Global, US, and Asia Analyst Relations colleagues with reporting lines to the EMEA Consulting Operations Leader and to the Global Analyst Relations Leader. Experience:
- Either An experienced Analyst Relations professional, ideally with experience working in Professional Services
- Or a candidate with established experience of Professional Services (ideally PwC) with a proven track record in delivering world class programs, complex project management, very strong communication and relationship skills, analytical and research skills, and with the experience and gravitas to work with and advise our most senior leaders across the Firm worldwide.
Key activities:
- Developing and maintaining broad relationships with key business and industry analysts in EMEA and Worldwide to gain insight into market trends, challenges, and future business and client opportunities and, to help positively influence the analyst community’s perception of the depth and breadth of PwC’s advisory and consulting capabilities;
- Developing and implementing Analyst Relations industry leading practice tactics including vendor briefings, inquiry, strategic advisory sessions, research RFI’s, analyst and industry events, and driving the strategy to tie these initiatives together;
- Collaborating with subject matter specialists and leadership to develop and drive compelling messaging and value propositions targeted to the analyst community;
- Utilizing analyst and market research to understand current market trends and the services vendor landscape, and incorporating this information into analyst relations activities to drive impact and differentiated programs to positively impact the PwC brand;
- Advising leadership on key analysts who can provide critical insight on market trends, competitors and opportunities as we develop new or existing practice areas;
- Evaluating analyst research agenda and advise leadership on significant opportunities for PwC participation;
- Understanding the overarching Marketing and Sales function, including Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Thought Leadership, as well as an understanding of related functions and Line of Service/Sector client service offerings;
- Developing and implementing Analyst Relations programs that are on the leading edge and leverage the latest technologies;
- Evaluating, analyzing and interpreting market research information from a variety of sources and applying learning to drive analyst relations strategy;
- Working across communications platforms, such as social media, video and/or digital;
- Developing and sustaining relationships with peers and subordinates in EMEA and Worldwide;
- Building and maintaining relationships with subject matter specialists and leadership, including effectively navigating a complex organization;
- Working independently to resolve issues and coordinating with leadership or subject matter specialists when necessary;
- Demonstrating abilities to translate complex concepts into easy to understand and compelling messaging specifically targeted to the analyst community;
- Overseeing analyst relations strategies and plans that deliver positive results in brand awareness and revenue growth;
- Influencing leadership in order to increase effectiveness of analyst relations activities thus driving impact and strengthening brand in the marketplace; and,
- Overcoming internal barriers and resource constraints to produce successful programs.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree preferred
- Desirable Fields of Study Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration/Management, Communications Studies/Speech Communication and Rhetoric
Location:
- UK, preferably London region
Travel requirements:
- Regular travel in EMEA notably to major territories like Germany and France and less frequently outside EMEA, notably to the US and occasionally to Asia
