Seagate – Senior Manager of Corporate Communications
The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications will be located in our Maidenhead, U.K. location. The Senior Manager will be a key member in helping to develop and execute strategic media and analyst relations initiatives to increase awareness of the Seagate brand and adoption of Seagate product lines. The successful candidate will have strong strategic capability with a track record of managing programs that amplify corporate and products messages across targeted audiences. We are seeking a driven professional who is ready to lead in a strategic role to shape the next chapter of Seagate’s communication playbook.
Responsibilities
- Create, implement and manage annual strategic communications programs in EMEA
- Manage EMEA PR team and agencies
- Secure top press coverage (Business, Tech and Consumer), primarily targeted at IT Professionals, Business Influencers and Emerging Ecosystems
- Successfully drive Analyst Relations programs to build advocacy for Seagate
- Win top product reviews in influential publications
- Coordinate with Corporate PR to drive the strategy for product launches through the product PR team and PR agencies
- Assist the global Director of Corporate Communications to achieve PR targets in EMEA
- Work collaboratively with regional marketing and sales teams to align PR strategy with business/marketing communications objectives and to support overall marketing plans
- Analyze the quantitative and qualitative outputs of PR programs to understand ROI
- Support marketing with social media strategy and execution

Manage regional PR budget
- Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing

10 years Public Relations experience in-house or agency
- Proven track record with Business, Tech and Consumer press

Deep knowledge of the region
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Detail and quality focused
- Must have experience handling crisis PR effectively

Collaborative and energetic work style, well-suited for a team-oriented environment
- Experience in social media/marketing

A creative, independent thinker and resourceful, enthusiastic problem solver
- IIAR Certification desirable although not essential
