Congratulations to each of the new Board Members! Hope the new Board will take the IIAR forward on its path towards growing into becoming a truly global organization and achieve lots more!
This year’s Election was slightly delayed so as to be able to take into account all the feedback given by members regarding the process. The turnout for this year’s election was 40%, which was reasonable taking into account the process spanned across the holiday season.
The new Board will be holding a conference call in the coming weeks to present their ideas and plans to members – further details to follow. In the meantime IIAR members can find out more about each Board member’s goals for the institute by clicking here.
Thanks to the outgoing board for their hard work:

- Simon Levin / The Skills Connections (LinkedIn, @theskillsconxn)
- Gerry van Zandt / HP (LinkedIn, @gerryvz)
- Dave Noble / Intelligen AR (LinkedIn, @IntelligenAR)
- Stephen England / KCG (LinkedIn, @sfengland)
Finally, thanks a lot to the Allen Valahu and Yash Khana for supporting the IIAR and standing in and to Keith Mitchell and Shipra Khanna, our new secretary, for organising the elections.
Congrats guys – looking forward to some objective (and inclusive) discussion during 2013.
Congratulations. Look forward to working with you as you take the Institute forward!
Looks like attention to detail has already gone astray… I seem to recall that there was a fifth member of the 2012 board. Suggestions anyone?
Apologies Dave, my bad. First day back I guess.
Less haste, more speed. Didn’t know you ever left. You might want to correct the Twitter post too, just for the record.
Hi, the 2013 Board members seem to be centralized in London…Not enough interest in APAC or Americas? Are there US Meetups scheduled this year?
Jim,
It’s not a design point but the way it turned out that way at the elections. Yes, we’re looking at developing a US chapter -your contact there is Hannah Hymann.
