Nerdery logo-IIAR websiteThe Analyst Relations Manager will be responsible for building and managing an Analyst Relations program that supports The Nerdery’s strategic marketing and growth objectives. The Analyst Relations Manager will drive ways to leverage analyst insight and shape market perception across the professional services and software development segments. In this role, you will build relationships and leverage deep, professional communications skills to obtain positive influence for The Nerdery across the Analyst community. This position will serve as a strategic component across our integrated marketing approach. The individual in this role must be comfortable representing technology and the organization in a polished and professional manner across all interactions.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Build, nurture and manage relationships with key industry analysts that cover the software development space
  • Establish processes for ongoing communication and education of industry analysts
  • Create and manage programs that increase awareness, visibility and understanding of The Nerdery, our strategy and offerings, and our market momentum and customer success
  • Understand and articulate The Nerdery’s strategy and capabilities at a high level
  • Manage The Nerdery’s vendor ratings and assessments in key industry analyst reports such as Gartner, Forrester, etc.
  • Facilitating analyst briefings and interviews during specific events
  • Capture and summarize discussions, insights and follow up items and communicate to appropriate stakeholders
  • Work with analyst firms to complete research reports and whitepapers
  • Secure analyst quotes for press releases
  • Prepare analyst briefing tours, presentations, and documents
  • Provide recommendations for purchased analyst research services
  • Support the Marketing Communications team in other PR-related programs and activities
  • Respond to analyst inquiries, monitoring briefings, ensuring that deliverables are provided and suggesting research topics
  • Monitor analyst report calendar for coverage potential

Skills/Qualifications/Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing or communications experience and;
  • 5+ years experience in Analyst Relations programs and relationships within organizations in the Professional Services sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Education/Experience

  • BA Communications, Marketing or related field
