What does analyst influence mean to you?

What does analyst influence mean to you?

If you’re in AR, how do you get it, and how do you measure it?

If you’re an analyst, how do you know whether you have it?

“Influence” is a goal for many Analyst Relations programs–and a factor of analyst effectiveness–yet there is little agreement about how to define, optimize or measure analyst influence. It can be a source of confusion and frustration for AR practitioners and our stakeholders, not to mention the analysts who are expected to provide it!

That’s why the Institute for Industry Analyst Relations (IIAR) and ARInsights are fielding a quick poll on Industry Analyst Influence. This 5-minute survey will attempt to benchmark how AR professionals and analyst firms perceive the nature and value of analyst influence, with the aim of helping AR teams set clearer objectives, expectations and metrics.

A summary of findings will be made available to AR and analyst firm participants who supply an email address, as well as in a future IIAR Best Practices paper. A preview will also be presented at the ARInsights User Forum on Sept. 9.

Please take a moment now and << click here >> to share your thoughts on this issue. It will only take 5 minutes, at the most, honest !
