[Job Posting] PR/AR Manager for Numara in Tampa, USA

The AR / PR Manager will be responsible for driving awareness and foster relations with key influencers and customer segments within our market. The role requires responsibility for building and executing a measurable strategy that improves Numara’s awareness and understanding at the analyst, press, consultant, strategic partners, channel and end user levels.

The AR/PR Manager will be responsible for 2 key initiatives:

1. GLOBAL PR STRATEGY
To build and manage the central and global PR strategy in conjunction with our Global PR agency, and ensuring coordination with the regional PR resources and agencies.

2. GLOBAL AR STRATEGY
To build and manage the global AR strategy, ensuring Numara is briefed on market trends and data, and the analysts are briefed on our vision and product status / roadmap

Key activities will involve:

•To maintain, enhance and develop Numara Software’s internal and external relationships
•Contribute to the development of a public relations strategy as part of the corporate planning process
•Create the annual public relations plan that identifies key stories and themes, includes a release schedule and identifies key stakeholders to work with during the year
•Implement, manage and review the public relations plan annually
•Prepare and issue press releases in accordance with the public relations plan and as required
•Actively pursue new public relations’ opportunities on an ongoing basis
•Manage all day to day public relations activity including liaison with partners and stakeholders as required
•Be Numara’s principal point of contact for all media inquiries
•Coordinate and facilitate Numara’s media spokespeople
•Maintain and develop a global media contacts database
•Devise, organize, manage and develop a media-centric photo library
•Manage the press cuttings service; distribute quarterly summaries to other departments and maintain an archive of hard copies
•Ensure that all relevant website pages are reviewed, refreshed and updated in a timely manner, including the Press Desk and all media-related content including social media
•Manage, and provide support for, all media activity at Numara, including media accreditation and provision of media support and services across all media events
•Prepare and publish Numara quarterly news and other internal communications as required
•Act as the department’s principal point of contact for all internal and external PR and AR activities
•Attend Corporate Marketing meetings
•Provide a written monthly update on Numara’s public relations’ activities and circulate internally
•Manage the Public Relations budget: prepare annual spending plans, ensure expenditure is committed and approved
•Work closely with the Product Management, Product Development and Product Marketing to ensure the proactive development of PR initiatives which are in support of the commercial strategy
•Work closely with the International teams to ensure the proactive development of public relations strategy
•Support the VP of Marketing in the development and implementation of Analyst Relationship programs
•Analyst SAS days
•Analyst briefings

Qualifications:

Required Campaign Manager Skill set and personal qualities:
•Good understanding of the market landscape and the influencers within it
•Multi-continent, trans-cultural experience.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
•Highly self-motivated and well-organized
•High attention to detail
•Excellent copy writing skills
•Coordination skills

Candidate Profile
•Strong knowledge of PR and AR in the IT Service Management, IT Operations Management and IT Asset Management
•Experience working in a $50M – $200M software company with international operations
• 8 years PR & AR management experience.
