[Job Posting] Influencer Relations Manager: 12mth contract – Bucks, UK

We are now looking to recruit an Influencer Relations Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. The Influencer Relations Manager is responsible for the influencer relations for SAS UK & Ireland, this includes managing the external PR agency, building industry and academic relationships, implementing social media programmes and working with internal customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Press and Industry Analyst Management

  • Organise and evaluate media training by external trainers for SAS spokespeople and provide on-going consultative guidance to spokespeople
  • Interact and build relationships with customers and alliance partners and their press offices to jointly promote SAS applications
  • Prepare/approve briefing documents and debriefs to events for spokespeople

External PR Agency Management

  • Work with the PR agency to ensure the strategy is developed and implemented to ensure delivery on message and coverage metrics
  • Review PR materials created by the agency and manage internal approval processes
  • Co-ordinate communications between PR agency and internal stakeholders
  • Manage PR agency budget

Industry and Market Knowledge

  • Understanding of the SAS corporate messaging and work to ensure it is delivered by spokespeople during analyst briefings and media engagements
  • Analysis and assimilation of current affairs – build general knowledge of the world as it impacts SAS – gained through reading the relevant publications

Social Media

  • Work within the Social Media policy and adopt a professional code of ethics when communicating through Social Media
  • Write appropriate Social Media content which is appropriate to the target audience
